Review summary

We had a few issues but nothing that wasn’t solved with a breath of fresh air on our balcony and a cold margarita in our hand. We want to try to make going on cruise a yearly thing for our anniversary.

It was good. We were able to really check out the ship and find our way around. The only thing was that Norwegian’s representative promised us a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses in our room when we arrived and there was no champagne or glasses in our room. So instead of enjoying each other right away ( which was planned, we were just married ) we ended up in a line waiting for a drink instead. Had I known that was the case I could’ve gotten the champagne before we were let into our rooms. All in all the Epic was beautiful, the service was good and the Bahamas were gorgeous.

The food and drink on the Epic was good. I thought Norweigian would have offered more seafood selections. There was a little seafood at the French Bistro. I just expected more quality foods. The buffets are kept clean and stocked. The bad news is that the food from the buffet makes you bloat and gassie. Who wants that on their honeymoon???Go for the specialty dining when you can, Way less gas and bloating and totally worth the few extra bucks.

We really enjoyed the cirque dreams dinner show. It was different than what we thought but we loved it anyway. The actors interact with guests and make it really fun. All thumbs up on this one!

Ship tip

Even though Norweigian has freestyle cruising go ahead and make sure you bring some semi dressy things. Collared shirts and long pants with no open shoes for guys and if you are a woman than think NICE RESORT WEAR

This was my first time out of country. I found it strange that Atlantis was in the middle of a poor community. They are charging 89.00 and up to step foot on their property. Regular drinks are 15.00 each. It costs thousands of $$$$ to stay there so why can’t they help the people that live around them and probably work for them more. I won’t spend another dime on Atlantis.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

This was the best day! We loved the beach and souvenirs we were able to buy there. It was a gorgeous and SAFE feeling place. That’s nice when you are traveling abroad. It was a perfect day at Great Stirrup Cay.
