Review summary

Dissapointing, not family friendly, more for young people.

Embarkation

This was our first cruise (myself,my husband, mother, father and our 3 young children 1 year old,2 year old and 6 year old) Was very disappointing to say the least full of spring breakers partying everywhere in next to no clothing! The top deck made me feel like I was in Ibiza, we had to walk past hundreds of young people partying and playing drinking games to take our kids to the pool. On a positive The staff were amazing and very friendly, Nassau was a beautiful island and made our trip but other than that will never go on this cruise or probably any other cruise again unfortunately.

I agree with the others. We have sailed on this ship three times. Love cruising, try going a different time of year. We cruise the week after thanksgiving or second week I. December and it’s a much more relaxed time.

I agree about the spring breakers. The staff just gave up on trying to clean up all the cups laying around. Looked like a garbage cruise. Cups, ash trays full, clothes left in pool, what a disaster.

I was on your cruise and agree about the spring breakers..they were everywhere and not much clothing...it definitely made for a different experience. We usually cruise in the fall and won't do a spring one again. Please don't let this keep you from cruising. Try it again once more and at a different time of year.

Honestly I’m excited to go on this trip for spring break ! Thanks, I hope there aren’t too many kids on this trip 💁🏽‍♀️

Maybe book a longer cruise during spring break time that many college kids can’t afford. I bet your experience would be better or just try a different time of year. No fun to be disappointed.

The problem is not the ship, it’s the time of the year: lots of spring breakers. If you can, Maybe try another cruise on the same ship but when it’s not spring break. I was on a cruise on the Epic in end of January and I had a blast. Nothing like you described. Sorry.

We sailed the Epic a few years ago in the fall. Pool deck was still busy, but not a lot of roudy partying going on and there was plenty room for kids and plenty of kids playing. I would agree with the other suggestions about timing.

We went on a 7 days Western Caribbean for Christmas with our 2 teens. Very family friendly. We booked another Christmas cruise on the pearl and Bermuda on the Gem. The time of year makes a big difference

You booked the wrong time of year. Don’t let it influence your entire cruising experience.

Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the Epic, I think you booked for the wrong time. We did the Med cruise, and nothing like you described.
