Review summary

Ship was way too big, 4400 guests is too many to deal with.  Had several dinning experiences that didn't go every well with a guest NOT getting any food! or the wrong food being presented multiple times.  Don't try to get any seating on pool deck after 8:00 am as there aren't any chairs available, ever.  Same issue in Garden Cafe, the buffet as there aren't enough seats available.  Food was only barely warm most of the time, especially from buffet, but also from dinning rooms  waited almost 45 minutes for breakfast in the Taste dinning room towards the end of the breakfast time and one individual didn't get served anything.  Her order was very simple, the order taker didn't understand.

Entertainment was GREAT!!! Providing you can get reservations for them...
We'll never sail on the Epic again, may still try Norwegian, just not the Epic!

Way too small, bathroom set up was very strange, toilet on one side of entrance way and shower on other side, sink and medicine cabinet in room on desk. At only 128 sq. Ft. could just barely have two people in at one time. Sometimes room was made up in late afternoon even after we left the ship by 9:00 am.

By day 4 my wife and I UNfortunately developed a strategy. I go and "wait" for a table to open while she gets in the food line, from there we basically switch roles where one mans the table and the other gets food/drinks. One day waited 10minutes for silverware. Too big, too many people. Never again EPIC FAIL!!

I totally agree with this review. The Epic is a great feat of engineering but it is far too large and impersonal to encourage a great cruising experience

Yeah we had a less than stellar experience too. Priscilla Queen of the Desert was outstanding though.

I didn't have these issues on epic on my date but I had that issue on Escape.

When we cruise we aren't in a hurry for anything. 45 minutes late for breakfast to me equals extra time with family and friends. I care less how long a meal takes. People worry too much on a cruise! Relax. That's what it's all about.
