A: My strong advice, go one or two days early. NCL will allow that. We almost missed last year due to a canceled flight.

A: OMG! We were to meet a couple in Puerto Rico who used same day NCL flights with guaranteed boarding—-WRONG— we were still in port when they arrived after delayed flights from ATLANTA. They tried to get thru immigration and the boarding process. They... knocked and knocked on the doors. Mind you we were still in port for almost 3 more hours before the ship left. They were locked out when arriving 5 minutes after the latest boarding times-DENIED boarding. Because of Required Covid testing they were unable to board at a future ports. This was February- Insurance has not AND Norwegians guaranteed boarding-still fighting to get reimbursed.See More

Q: Hello everyone. I will be on the Epic on the 4/20/22 cruise from Rome. We are disembarking on the 27th. We have an early flight. Does anyone know the typical time they will allow passengers of the ship with a 6 am arrival time?

A: Mark, I'm assuming NCL booked your flight, you are at least an hour from the airport at the port. However, since resuming cruising, you get to carry your own bags off (no crowd at bag pickup). They should have protocol for cruisers with early flight,... but remind them you need to get off early. Hope you have a great cruise!See More

Q: I’m going on Norwegian Epic on October 2nd leaving from NY to Barcelona and departing from Rome October 13th. Both flights are nonstop.. I heard that the flight to Barcelona takes about 71/2 hrs and leaving from Rome about 91/2 hrs!! Has anyone done this trip from NY area and if so, how bad is it? My longest flight was 5 hrs and that was 20 yrs ago! I’m so anxious about how long I can sit on a plane for. I almost canceled. But I know we’ll never go to Europe again and we got a great deal two years ago when we booked it. ~Thanks!

A: I have alcoholic drinks included as I took the NCL Free at Sea promotion and chose beverage package as one of my choices. I’m not a big drinker but the cost per day for free at sea means you only have to average a couple of drinks daily for it to be... worth it.See More
