A: We had a choice of different discounts. We chose $50 off shore excursions/per room and all inclusive beverage package
Answered by roz40gil on June 11, 2023
A: The person that books the group can get credit for their cruise price OR split the savings amongst the entire group. The entire group can get discounts (depending how many days out you book 5-15%) and choose amenities like internet pkg, photo pkg, sh... ore credit, bev pkg, dining pkg, obc, etcSee More

A: you picked an arrival time not a boarding time
Answered by montanaman on May 21, 2023
A: Can you explain more? So the time you say you want to board you don’t actually get to board? How does that work?
Answered by cd305507 on June 7, 2023
A: Why are you asking a rhetorical question? People here don’t work for the cruise line.
Answered by jpmato16 on May 21, 2023
A: Nobody pays attention to their boarding time so don't worry about it.
Answered by rjcm on December 28, 2023

A: They have a country western group that plays in the Q restaurant but don’t waste your time they weren’t good at all they played a Kenny chesney song and we couldn’t take it real wicked bad sorry but that’s my opinion and I love country.
Answered by SEASTHEDAY525 on April 16, 2023
A: If you mean “western” night, then the answer is no.
Answered by jpmato16 on April 8, 2023
A: they may not have an official western night but on some cruises they may have a country music night. I saw one shown on one of the NCL dailies from a January cruise this year. it was a 2-week cruise so maybe they only do that on longer cruises.

Q: So last night I noticed prepaid services for over $300 for us 3 passengers. So we called customer service and they said the following. $15 A-day housekeeping is what they charge you at the end of the cruise you can go down and say you don't want to pay $15 A-day you only want to pay $5 A-day this is for housekeeping and whatever else but you can also pay that in cash you just go down to customer service at the end of the cruise. It’s somewhat confusing. Can anyone help out here?

A: Customer service was trying to explain that because it's a tip, you can reduce or remove it if you don't feel the service warrants it, just like a restaurant. If you don't want to pay the lump sum gratuity in the future, you can always opt out and ti... p people in cash. However I think it's better to pay the lump sum because there are a lot of people that help give you a good cruise that you don't interact with, like the kitchen staff that cooks the food. Knowing how hard the staff works and how little they get paid, I would not feel right about reducing the gratuity at all.See More

A: It goes to several crew members, and the deserve it,. they work hard for it.
Answered by tammyherndon on February 27, 2023
A: It is stated in your cruise documents. It goes to several crew members and is well deserved.
Answered by nclcruzr on February 27, 2023
A: You can pre-pay the gratuities when you book your cruise. That way you have no auto.
Answered by MissDataQueen on September 30, 2023
A: it also goes to all the crew cleaning the ship while you are sleeping, cleaning the outside of the ship while at port, they all work so hard. Just pay it and enjoy your cruise. They totally deserve it.
Answered by nclcruzr on April 14, 2023
A: like everyone said here, it's needed, they depend on it, they work hard for it, just pay it. you try to remove it, they do notice it. not that they won't clean your room or does any worse but keep in mind when you need "additional" assistance a "mayb... e" would probably end up being a "sorry"See More

Q: Does anyone have information regarding the classic cabana rental on the private island? I saw pricing starts at $249 for up to 8 people. But when I go to site to book it it’s $649!! That’s the cost of the whole week.

A: It's more like $649, the lower price looks like the cost of vibe pass. Never booked cabana but spoke to folks last cruise that did and loved it, they pick you up and drive you all the way there. One drawback is that it is no where near the pools... and swim up bar, if you're into that.See More
Answered by nclcruzr on February 17, 2023
A: It's $649. Way out of my price range, but probably nice if you can do it.

A: Call Norwegian. To change rooms there must be a room available that would fit your needs. Your profile shows 2/26/2023. Not much time left.
Answered by NCLARRY on February 15, 2023
A: As long as your not within 90 days of sailing and there's a cabin in the same category still available, it shouldn't be an issue. Good Luck🤞
Answered by Ship2Shora on February 8, 2023
A: You will need to call Norwegian. Hopefully customer service can put you in a better cabin.
Answered by spookylu on February 7, 2023
A: Did you end up getting one by the elevator? I have a mobility issue but was concerned being near elevator would make it a noisy room due to passing foot traffic in the hallway.

A: Haven suites have Bvlgari products. Other rooms have a generic product. I always use what is provided and they work just fine.

Q: Heading on the Encore in a couple weeks. Does my husband need a sport coat or suit? If so, which one, suit or sport coat? Thanks in advance!

A: I only cruise NCL and never bring more than pants and collared shirts for evenings. Leave the coats at home. NCL is more casual than others, but smart dress is expected after 6pm in specialty restaurants.
Answered by Gravel6 on February 6, 2023
A: No .. NCL is very relaxed. Hardly anyone dresses up anymore. However, the option is yours.
Answered by sonolady14 on January 31, 2023
A: Men are not required to wear sport coats or suits. But if you wanted to dress up for the Manhattan dining room or especially dining, or even if you wanted your portrait taken be nice to have.

A: Also, go to You Tube, there’s great videos that will show everything about the solo studios and lounge. Worth a view.
Answered by Gravel6 on January 3, 2023
A: Easy one. It’s within the locked, secured area of the studio suites. Typically the suites are on two levels and the lounge is on one of those levels mere feet from the first suites. You’ll need key card access to get in.

Q: This is my first time cruising with NCL, so everything is new to me even though I am a seasoned cruiser. Do we have to make reservations for the meals in the main dining room and other eating places. I realize that the we would have to in specialty restaurants.

A: Reservations are not required outside of specialty restaurants, though they do accept them for the MDR. I tend to eat on the early side, normally around 6, and have never had to wait for a table. If going later, especially if you have a large group,... they would probably be wise.See More

Answered by kbeelabs on December 17, 2022
A: Most of us choose this ship given its high level of smoke free features. The casino is even smoke free with the exception of a closed smokers space for those smoking AND GAMBLING. They’ll have one small external space where the smokers can do their... dirty deed. Usually at the rear of the ship.See More

A: What info are you looking for? Just where you can smoke on the ship, or something else?
