  6. Norwegian Encore NCL cruise - Travelling next week . Cruise is from Seattle to Alaska with a small stopover at icyoria , British Columbia . I have parents from overseas and will they need Canadian visa even if staying on board . What do they check for foreign passports upon boarding and if they don’t intend to disembark at Canada will it be OK ? I feel that 4 hour stop is quite an overhead also while booking they did not say about the requirement and advised they could be on board .. Am a bit confused when I look on Canadian website . Also not getting meaningful info from anyone from NCL or their partner Visa Central . People who have visited or with similar situation can you please share what to do and what to expect ??
