I have taken nine solo cruises with NCL. There has not been one cruise where some social connections of various types have not arisen naturally, without my having to try at all. That’s just the nature of cruising, in my experience. I relish my alone time, too. I don’t even seek out these connections. If you are a social person, you will naturally gravitate to situations to socialize. Don’t worry about it. The cruise atmosphere is very friendly. Relax and have fun.

An easy way to meet people is to go to trivia and ask anyone if you can join thier team. Obviously not everyone is as friendly as others but I've done that
