Review summary

The ship was smaller and more dated then we had expected. But the accomidations were very nice and the service was excellent!! The food was ok...not what we had expected since you usually hear raves about the food on cruises, but again the service was excellent.

We visited Xcaret. It was very nice (although it rained). We were very excited to do the underground rivers but there really isn't much to see. Not sure what all of the fuss was about. They did have a nice beach/cove that you could snorkel on but it was too cold and rainy to bother. Went to the buffet there...a little shocked when we got the bill for $66 and I only had one drink and that was only $10. I would suggest other activities.

We actually just found a bar on the local beach (just past the dock) that had lounge chairs that you could use all day as long as you ordered from the menu...totally worth it. The vendors came to us and they had couples massages on the beach. What a great day.

We signed up to do the ariel treck and cave tubing...due to a lot of rain the caves flooded so we did the ariel treck and reppeling instead. THAT WAS AWESOME!!! Very bumpy ride to get there.
