Review summary

The biggest disappointment of this cruise was that Norwegian cancelled one of the ports without any given reasons or compensation less than 1 week before the embarkation. While we enjoyed other ports, the cancelled port was the one we were most looking forward to visiting. We know cruise ship companies can cancel ports of call and not compensate travellers, but it is still quite disappointing, and this experience is deterring me from choosing Norwegian again. As for the ship, it is old and outdated, but clean enough. We won the bet for upgrading from the inside room to the balcony and liked our new cabin. The food was mediocre at its best with repeated appetizers almost every day. The drinks and entertainment were pretty good, but we found the music way too loud for our liking. If I were to pay a similar price, I would choose RC or Carnival over NCL.
