This cruise was so relaxing and refreshing! I needed it. Love the crew on the Dawn. It is an older ship but the staff, food, and entertainment is the reason I went back!

One of our favorite. Loved the food and service! Don’t miss the pre-Dinner drink at the Los Lobos Bar with the bartender, Roy. He is amazing!

For me, I thought it was ok. My husband enjoyed all the meats. The salad bar was mediocre to me and we had dinner at 7:30 but they had already ran out of some of the meats.

Good food. We are there for breakfast and brunch many days. I mentioned to Edward, a Manager that I was surprised by the desert choices and he wentOut of his way to provide us a cheesecake everyday no matter where we are AND he would come say hello. This is Amazing service and out this cruise over the top!

Love this dining room and the staff is great! It is more intimate than the Venetian and I love the energy. The food is always so delicious too.

NCL is know for their entertainment! The bands, duets, and singers around the ship are so good. Top notch! The shows are great!
Service and Staff

NCL service is awesome but the Dawn is above that. Edward, Garden manager, who made sure I was happy with my desert choices every night no matter where I ate dinner. Other examples: Roy, the bartender in Los Lobos, servers remembering your name and drinks you like, always a smile when you walk by them and the bosses are so personable too.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was a good size and I liked being so close to the elevators. I laughed when I
Saw the TV as I had forgotten how small the are on the Dawn. The bed was comfortable and plenty of storage. The cabin a little bigger than a regular balcony and the bed is close to the bathroom leaving the sitting are by the balcony, which I prefer. It has a blackout curtain between the bed and sitting area which is probably for when you have a 3rd guest but I loved it when I wanted to sleep in a little late. We ordered water for the week and put it in the refrigerator so we were good with that. The balcony is great and not obstructed. The bathroom was spacious but I prefer a shower over the tub/shower combo. The tub is high and somewhat slippery when getting out. Overall, a great cabin and location.
Ship tip
Tip the staff you really enjoy a little more. They work so hard to make you happy and a little means so much to them.
This time we stayed in the pool. Tip the server and they will come back regularly and tip you in the pool. The food and drink are not included and a little expensive but we had a good time!
We have cruised on the Dawn 5 times and loved it each time. We found a suite we really liked and had it the last 3 times we sailed her.
