For the money I paid it was good value. Loved the food and the service by dining room and housekeeping staff. Didn't like the upselling and lousy customer service. Cruising is too crowded and noisy for me as I'm more introverted. If you like loud, this is your cruise.

The food and staff were the best of this cruise. I did find the noise level quite loud at some of the restaurants, especially the buffet.

The pool was very small so didn't bother. The area was always pumping out loud music so we avoided this area. We went to bingo one night but it was only one game that was played. A lot of the activities that I would have liked to attend had an additional charge attached to them like morning yoga and painting class for example.

The Stardust Theatre was beautiful and the performers were top notch. The shows were only 45 minutes when I expected at least an hour.

Chairs in the buffet room were sometimes dirty and seats in the bar where we played bingo were grungy.

Our cabin was comfortable, big enough for two people and very clean. Our steward was very good.
Ship tip
This was my first cruise and we bought it two weeks before going and paid $530 US. It was good value for that price but I would be upset if I paid full price. I had an issue with prepaid water not being delivered and needed to make 4 trips to customer service to get rectified. I didn't appreciate that the first two clerks made me feel like I was scamming them. I never did receive an apology for the error or the inconvenice it caused me.
I had visited Mayan sites before so did not bother with an excursion. This port offered very little except pushy vendors selling mostly imported wares. Very crowded the day we were there with 3 cruise ships in. Having no cultural or historical significance time was better spent on the ship.
