I think some people on this cruise were upset not going to Bermuda as promised however a lot of them are upset not being told until Friday morning. I was on the cruise the prior week and the staff knew by Wednesday morning they were heading for Canada next week not Bermuda. The CruiseLine should have told them way before Friday or late Thursday that is the only thing they fell down on.

Without reiterating what has been said. We took another couple on their first cruise primarily to see Grand Cayman. The water was too rough to tender. We made the best of the cruise and so did our companions. Go with the flow. You traveled as a couple yet you rated the children's activities one star?????? You did not say when the captain made the decision to change the itinerary. If before the cruise departed then you could have talked to someone to rectify the situation. You want your money back. Did you eat on the cruise, did you sleep on the cruise and I assume you did not get off the ship in Canada. It appears from your post the all you could do on the entire cruise was complain thus making the people around you miserable as well.

Was upset for all the people that got rerouted but why would you want to go on a cruise right through a hurricane I bet if you did go through the hurricane you would have very much regretted it!

Gampy i hope they reroute you then you will know what it feels like we will see how much you cry

Rookie mistake taking a cruise during hurricane season.

Got to read those contracts clearly states no guarantees on ports of call or itinerary yes a disappointment but I think passenger safety comes first When booking a cruise during hurricane season make sure you take the insurance. Research before you go on your next vacation. The more homework you do the better read all the paperwork no surprise then

They should have canceled or given the option of reimbursement or credit our account for a future cruise.

Buy the insurance with cancel for any reason coverage and you won't sound like whining little babies when the cruise line does what they need to do for safety. If they would have sailed thru the middle of it you would have whined also.

Ncl is very quick to change itinerary they know a lot of passengers don't book excursions through the ship to expensive so they will wait for the last minute and change itinerary they hope by doing that you have no choice but to book through them its all about money they changed the itinerary on me and carnival went to the islands we were supposed to go

We have missed Bermuda doing a transatlantic, too windy, Azores instead. Disappointing but better to be safe!

EVERY cruise line does this. Don't travel during hurricane season and very likely this won't happen

Read the T&C . No port or itinery is gaurnteed .

That’s a big disappointment! Hurricane too big to go around I’m sure, but when you’re expecting tropics and end up going north that would be a bitter pill to swallow. It’s all about the money isn’t it.

Oh boy...there’s always a chance of The itinerary changing during hurricane season.
