Review summary

Easy on and Easy off the ship. I chose to take my luggage and do the walk-off instead of setting my luggage out the night before. My parents set their luggage out and there was a little confusion for them on where they were supposed to wait to get off. The overall experience was awesome. There were only a handful of staff members that really should chose a different career. The cruise entertainment director was very funny and entertaining. The staff who ran the games and show were amazing. By far our favorite staff member was the Washy Washy guy from the Garden Buffet. He was so pleasant, upbeat and HAPPY. I am not typically a morning person, but he put a smile on my face every time we saw him. We would actually look for him so we could go through the entrance that he was at.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We arrived at 930 am, checked in at 10, were able to get on the ship a little early about 1130/1145. Definitely will do the earliest check in again.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most of the staff were awesome, especially Happy, Happy, Washy, Washy in the Garden Buffet. The staff in the O'Sheehan's was horrible. They were moody and acted like we were an inconvenience to their day. One of my family members became ill and I was late to the table to order cause I took her back to her room. I had to ask 3 times if I could order.

Ship tip

If you like to stand and wait for an elevator chose the ones in the Aft or Forward, the mid-ship/main elevators take to long to get on. We mostly just took the stairs (with all the delicious food, we needed the exercise)

Ports of call

Boston, Massachusetts Did not visit port

Boston is very busy and we were not interested in touring the city or port. Nothing against the city, but we were just there for the ship.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

Absolutely Beautiful, Norwegian provided a free tender to the other parts of the island, or you could use a bus or ferry that were close walking distance from the ship.

Washy Washy was so excited the morning after the show, "Did you see the show?" He is adorable.

At the end of our cruise, when the captain and groups of staff were introduced, the director singled out Washy Washy and the audience roared with applause.

Sawest- we were on an NCL in around ‘09 or so. Either the gem or the dawn, don’t remember. One particular washy washy guy at the garden buffet was beyond amazing an upbeat. I wonder if it was the same guy! “Good afternoon! Nice fries. Washy washy!!!”
