TERRIBLE Staff and Cruise experience... Bermuda is GREAT!!! NCL is a huge disappointment.

Review summary

Drink package is a rip-off. There is only one bar on the whole ship to get specialty martinis (and other drinks) and they will cost $4 extra on top of you drink package and they will be served by the slowest and rudest bar and wait staff of any of the three cruise lines I've been on. The rest of the bars will only serve drinks just above well-level drinks. Hands down the worst service and staff I have ever experienced in almost 100 nights at sea. Also the worst food (both complimentary and specialty) of any cruise line I've been on. Apparently seasoning and flavor is too expensive. Prepare to be disappointed if you have been on Royal Caribbean or even Carnival. Also, when trying to book, don't call NCL directly, their operators will lie about room availability, pricing, and will be very high pressure. Book through , best prices, friendlies sales team, great communication. I will definately book through again.

Squeeze me? Baking powder? I've been on Regent, formerly Raddison, and I love NCL. Carnival.....hah......to each their own. Who orders top shelf drinks anyways???? Wait, is this my ex-wife?

Sorry about your experience. We only took the beverage package because it was included. The service charge was about equivalent to the value of what we drank, but it was nice to have the freedom to try different drinks. It was expensive to attend the tastings though. We were fortunate to have great service from bartenders who kidded around, agreed to do some specials for us and seemed to be hustling. I didn’t think the main dining rooms were anything special but the specialty dining meals we had were memorable.

Never had trouble on Dawn..if ordering specialty drinks expect to pay more. Oh be the way Carnival owns Norwegian
