Review summary

Wonderful cruise. We met lots of friendly people and made great memories. The food was over the top good, served by a very professional waitstaff. We even saw dolphins jumping alongside the ship on our way back to Boston. We are definitely doing this again!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We were dropped off at the ship by my sister right around 12 noon. Traffic was a bit horrendous just outside of the terminal. I wish we had been earlier to arrive. Once dropped off, the process was very orderly and quick. Wear comfy shoes so you can explore the ship. You won’t have access to your bags for a few hours.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was amazing. Aqua was our favorite. The garden cafe was a buffet that is quick but usually crowded. The Venetian was good as well. We had 3 specialty restaurant dinners that were good as well. We were NEVER hungry.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The pool was really crowded on sunny days. We were never able to swim or get in the hot tubs. We were able to get loungers on the upper decks. I joined the spa and enjoyed it every day.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We saw a hypnotist show that was very funny. We tried to see a comedy show but couldn’t get a seat.

Children's Programs

No kids joined us

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most of our servers were top notch. We had only a few bartenders that were wildly slow.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean, very well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great cabin. Perfect size for 2 and clean. The balcony was so beautiful. We spent lots of time just watching the ocean go by. However, the noise from the garden cafe chairs were almost nonstop. It didn’t bother my husband but woke me up every morning around 6.

Ship tip

Bring conditioner for your hair. Only shampoo, body wash and soap are included.

Ports of call

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Beautiful place. Friendly people. It was easy to get around the island with taxis. We swam with dolphins, went kayaking and rode horses on the beach. We loved each excursion!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Although it was sad to leave such a wonderful ship, everything was very orderly and efficient.

There wasn’t too much motion from Boston to Bermuda but we did encounter a thunderstorm on our return trip and the ocean had many more swells. I didn’t see anyone who was sea sick but they did have sickness bags posted on the staircases. The wild dolphins were about 16-20 hours from docking in Boston. I’m not sure exactly where we were. Lots of people enjoyed watching them from the railings. It was amazing.

Dolphins in Boston? I thought they were in Miami!!!

We only have been in the pool once on a cruise and that was in February during the stop in Belize,we didn't do a excursion we shopped so we made sure we came back to ship with plenty of time to try the pool out while it was very quiet with most still on excursions or at port,so that's the BEST time to swim while on a cruise ship!
