Review summary

Food prep and delivery in the optional dinning rooms took too long. For example, in Le Bistro, we waited for one solid hour before receiving our boullibase and the restaurant was not to capacity or even close!

Also, we feel Norwegian may consider enforcing a smart casual dress code in the upscale optional dinning rooms. We observed many guests wearing baseball style caps, flip flops and shorts and other inappropriate clothing at dinner time.

Your concept of "freestyle" dinning was too often taken to extremes by some.

loved the specialty restaurants, but changing the whole freestyle dress will hurt business.

we were told no flip flops or baseball caps. My husband wore either nice shorts with boat shoes or jeans with his boots. I didn't see anyone that didn't follow those guidelines. And the food and service in the speciality restaurants were AMAZING!

I think the only things you can't wear is ball cap, flip flop,bathing suit. Besides that it's called freestyle cruising for a reason. I can see wearing jeans or shorts, nice shirt. I'm gonna love not to dress up
