Review summary

Upon arriving in our room we had our first disappointment. There was only 1 single 110 outlet located on the makeup table.  Having 2 cell phones, a laptop and re-chargeable hearing aids. The ships only solution was to provide a power strip that ended up taking half the counter space. I know this ship was just completely updated. Apparently the have no consideration for the US market where everyone carries multiple electronics. Even the TV was 220. There were multiple 220 outlets unused in the room.  Why couldn't they have provided simple 220 to 110 converters.

It was also difficult to find a quiet place on at sea days to read or play cards.

Not everyone wants to eat and drink till they pass out!

Other than seeing some of the worst poverty in the Caribbean the overall cruise was fine.

make sure it's a power strip that does not have a surge protector....... surge protector not safe on a ship.

there are countless quiet places to get away on the Dawn. we like to play cards on the top floor of the atrium. there is also a card room, and durring the day the bars are all empty.

I always bring a small power strip, if you google what to pack for a cruise you'll get a lot of great ideas from past travelers.

we always bring along a small power strip!

better off with a power strip that has the 2 usb ports. An outlet plug might not fit.

good to know. we usually pack a power strip but I think for this trip I'll pack an outlet plug that has two plugs plus two USB outlets.
