Review summary

The crew was very nice, always helpful and pleasant. I feel like they could improve on not nickle and diming you to death. On others cruises I have been on you could have all the options in the dining room without being charged extra and it seemed like they charge extra for more than other cruise lines. I prefer other cruise lines so I am not sure I would recommend Norwegian, although it has been a while since I have cruised with them so I don't know if things have changed. If you like freestyle this might be a better option for you. The jury is still out for me on freestyle. We would try to make reservations because we had a large group and most of the time it was full, although if we went early we could usually be seated except we had a 20 minute wait one night and I don't like how they charge extra for lobster etc.

I felt like there were a few bottle necks at dinning rooms and I like more open central areas like on Royal Caribbean.

First time having a balcony. We got two balcony rooms and two standard rooms. We felt like people would congregate in our balcony rooms since there were ten of us. This worked really well. I don't think I could go without a balcony ever again, but it WAS good for the large group. We had a nice large bed, the kids were always on it. Ha! Having a balcony was so fun to see what was going on, especially entering and leaving ports.
