Review summary

Norwegian has gone way down hill. Food is ok, buffet is like hospital cafeteria food. If you're looking for a nice meal, you have to eat at the specialty restaurants. Service is slow from everything from drinks to dinner. NEVER a hot cup of coffee (which is terrible) bread wad old & crumbly. I actually lost weight on this cruise. Entertainment is boring & lack of. Ship is old, outdated & falling apart. Room (mini-suite) smelled like mold BUT room stewart was great. Don't go to the spa, got a burn from the rock massage, at which the spa manager said it was impossible, while looking at my burnt leg. Customer service is terrible, they do not care about there guest. The daily gratuity is ridiculous, they don'don't deserve 1%. Being about my 10th cruise, I would NEVER cruise Norwegian again. The ship needs to be retired!

I did to. Within 15 mins of it being on I didn't feel sick.

We just came back from Bermuda last week and it was our first time. We had a blast. Being our first time we had no expectations. We were not disappointed at all. The trip will be what you make of it. The only suggestion I have is make sure you have motion sickness patches. If the sea is rough you may need them:)

We went on the Dawn for our first cruise and the only issues we had were the room felt damp and musty and the ac wasn't working. They came a couple of times to fix it, but wasn't totally fixed it was better. Long waits to get your free soda was another complaint. I think they should have soda fountains around the ship and just include that with freestyle dining. Other than that the entertainment and staff were great. Some people are just not happy with any service they get. Our room steward was amazing. Didn't have to ask for anything. If we forgot to turn the wheel to make up the room he did it anyway and was always there. I don't think the man ever slept. Worked hard and long days. Was not impressed with Bermuda, but that is not the cruise's fault. Go with an open mind like they said and enjoy. If you don't like it cross them off your list for your next cruise. Some stuff needs updating and from what I've heard it will be dry docked in 2016 for that purpose.

Bloomfield & Sherry...PLEASE...read the reviews, ALL the reviews to the right on this page regarding this ship and itinerary. Don't base your decision to cancel solely on this one review. Some passengers experience poor cruises due to many reasons from "their" expectations of what they received. I have been on many cruises on varied cruise lines and granted, some were great and some not so much. But even the not so much cruises were better than staying home where I have to cook, clean and go to work. STAY open minded. Do your research. Enjoy your cruise!! Bon Voyage.....
