A relaxing, laid back cruise!

Sail Date: September 23, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship is clean. There is always lots going on. It is hard to hear announcements made. The showers have good pressure and plenty of hot water.

Pros: Getting on and off the ship was quick and easy. All staff were friendly, helpful, polite and willing to go the extra mile. Bermuda is beautiful.

Cons: I wish they would have different colors or prominent signs for the left and right sides of the ship. Elevators are in different directions and we always seemed to walk to the wrong side.

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? Yes!

Ship Quality
The library NEEDS new furniture
Food and Dining
The food is good and there is plenty of it. Omelettes at breakfast are great. Waffles, not so much. Aqua was our favorite restaurant. All staff in there were professional, friendly, and always ready to please.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our room was kept very clean. Adorable towel animals were made nightly. Fresh pool/beach towels were always ready. We were always greeted with warmth and respect.
Service and Staff
All staff work hard and are willing to go the extra mile. For example, our waitress at Blue Lagoon went to Aqua to get me the bread I liked. The washy- washy girls at breakfast were energetic and entertaining. They are an outstanding group!
Entertainment
Second City and the Improv workshops were fun.
King's Wharf, Bermuda
Enjoyed Snorkel Beach and the Glassblowers in particular. Skip ice cream at the drug store. It's Turkey Hill and EXPENSIVE! Bailey's Ice Cream is fabulous! Go there and to the caves which are just around the corner!Take the bus and ferries everywhere!
Don't Miss: Horseshoe Beach is gorgeous. Tobacco Beach is fun. Snorkel Beach is very relaxing.
