We have sailed on the Boston to Bermuda cruise 6 times, with the Majesty, The Dream, The Spirit and now The Dawn. The Dawn was great. It was recently refurbished and had a clean, new feeling about it. There is only one pool which was extremely crowded but there was both sun and shade in the area.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
There were 10 restaurants, some with cover charges ranging from $10 to $25. No matter where you ate, the food was great..
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was great, but not enough of it. Days at sea (which we had an extra one due to weather) were lacking in quality activities. The game shows the cruise staff put on were very entertaining. Paul Scally, the cruise director, was the best one I have had on any ship. He could ad-lib and and just get the crowd going.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff was friendly and more than happy to accomodate any request you had. The cabin stewards kept the cabin and bathroom spotless. Every staff member greeted you as you passed by.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was large but you did not feel overcrowded and any area except the pool.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a balcony stateroom. It was spacious enough with enough storage. There was also a small stocked refrigerator which is a plus. The balacony had one older chair and one new chair with a small table.
We enjoyed snorkle park. There was just enough shopping available. The ferry and buses were easily accessable. All the shore excursions were right there at the pier.
