Good cruise

Sail Date: November 19, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Cruise director, staff and entertainment was good. The food in the main restaurants was as usual. Unfortunately the wait staff were not as attentive as on the other NCL cruises. The bar staff were excellent though. The disembarkation process was excellent.

Pros: The Itinerary

Cons: Main dining Room Staff

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? Yes!

Ship Quality
On the whole the ship was clean and well-maintained.
Food and Dining
Food was good. There was no variation in the main dining rooms for lunch. Each day was the same lunch menu.
Dining rooms were lovely, especially the Venetian.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Basseterre, St. Kitts
We took the 4 x 4 off road trip. Excellent.
Don't Miss: The off-road 4 x 4 British Army Truck
St. John's, Antigua
We took an off-road trip that was enjoyable.
Road Town, Tortola, B.V.I.
Virgin Gorda - The Baths. Too many people, but I guess that's just being selfish.
Bridgetown, Barbados
We didn't take an excursion on this island, but did take a bus into town which was unenjoyable. The bus drivers are in a hurry to get you out to town and back to pick up more passengers and were extremely rude doing so.
