Review summary

Won't be sailing on this boat again. One of out ports got skipped and they only gave us a $15 refund. Pretty pathetic. Not much at all to do on the boat. Same 2 events replayed every single night. I know they can do better but choose not to.

We skipped Ensenada on our last cruise due to weather, were refunded $8pp by NCL, but our 3rd party insurance paid out £150pp for it. The cruise lines don’t have to compensate you at all, if you want to make sure you’re covered take out your own insurance that includes missed port cover.

Sorry you were disappointed, need to read your contract

We always enjoy Harvest Caye for the spacious beach and restaurant. Yes, you have to pay for food and drinks but we don’t mind. There are excursions available, too.

A cruise is what you make of it. Thanks for sharing

Ships skip ports all the time for various reasons, often weather. The cruise line owes you nothing except a refund for the port fees for that stop, which are usually around $15. If that is an issue, you can buy cruise insurance from third parties that will provide compensation for missed ports.

I guess you didn't read your cruise contract, cause it states ports can be changed without compensation except for port fees and taxes. Also it is called a ship, not a boat. One more thing, I know that there was different things to do every night and not the same two things. There is plenty to do, and of course, not everyone is interested in doing the same thing, so the cruise line has different things to do for different people's interests.
