Review summary

First cruise so I learned not to trust much of anything. I was never offered a drink package and I couldn’t use the credit card I signed up for to get my onboard credit. Once onboard the drink package was over $900 and no top shelf drinks were included.

Your TA should have explained about the Free at Sea package, which includes the drinks package plus speciality dining. You save hundreds compared to buying the drinks package separately.

Sounds like you had a good time, despite the drink package and credit card snafu. Yeh, I would get a new travel agent. They should have explained that everyone in the room has to get the drink package if one gets it. Sometimes it's cheaper just to buy your drinks individually if the others in your group don't drink much, especially if you have a lot of port days. Hope your next cruise goes smoother.
