Review summary

After reading many negative reviews, I was a little concerned. But it is what you make it and our trip was fantastic!!! We also had absolutely gorgeous weather around 60° every day which made this trip amazing. The food and entertainment were fantastic and all the crew seem to be smiling and happy. I loved the sun rises almost every morning from our balcony room on the starboard side. relax, eat well, and have a good time.

Loved all the food. The Manhattan room was amazing because it included live music and performances. Taste and Savor were intimate and quite. The Buffet was well stocked and delicious.

We all loved the hibachi grill. The edamame, miso soup, filet mignon and sea scallops were cooked to perfection. The only problem is we got our bill and forgot to have our Dessert.

We didn’t love that the meat made its rounds to everyone’s table. Since coming off of Covid it kind of freaked us out.

Since this was a cold-weather cruise our focus wasn’t hanging out on deck. We did take advantage of two waterslides (pink and yellow)and a pool. The pool and slides are heated from 77-99 ish degrees. The water slides were crazy fast. Wanted to use the road course but it was too windy.

We saw two comedy shows. The first was really good and the second was OK. Since it’s based on a lot of improv and whoever may be in the room the show is different every time.

The balcony door closed really well. We didn’t hear any wiggling from the outdoor barricades. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable

Ship tip

We enjoyed sailing on this ship because it was 2/3 full. I think it could get a bit crazy if it was full to capacity and was a warm weather cruise. don’t miss Syd Normans. It’s not just a band, it’s a show. Make sure you show up early. Use your TV to make reservations for all of your eating early in your trip.

When on the narrow guayabera train ride. Since all in my party can’t walk long distances this was enjoyable. Wish we could have heard the narration better but it was too loud.

We walked from the cruise ship along the path to see the harbor seals and the reversing falls. The first half of the walk is lovely until you reach a major highway which you have to walk next to. It is worth walking The extra distance to reach the observation platform.

Had a great time at the Alexander Keith brewery which included complementary beer and a good old Irish hoedown. We walked along the harbor path and enjoyed listening to the Swiss horns being played and looking at the fish being caught by the locals. We also saw starfish in the water

Rented the Electric car called the Gem and did a self guided loop of Acadia. It was a beautiful day. a wonderful experience.

Loved it. Toured the breakers. Make sure to Bring some AirPods and your phone so you can listen to the guided tour. It’s awesome!
