Review summary

Long boarding process. Rough seas the first day. NCL did not impress me at all. Crew did not follow courtesies of giving guests the right of way or acknowledging guests when passing. No live tv in room was really disappointing. Movies had to be purchased. Not a cruise I would take again.

We paid for priority check in but no one told us that was in the back. The staff sent us to regular checkin. Then priority was never called for boarding.

Wait staff forgot about us when she had a table for 6. The head waiter had to takeover and get our food and beverages.

There was no personal interaction with any employee. Waitstaff in restaurants did not sing or dance. Cabin steward had to be asked for towels. No towel folding or mints in the cabin. Nothing special was done to make the stay memorable.

The cabin steward told us to vacate our room. After customs there was zero help finding the correct bus to get to the right airport. Long lines of lost guests who were very upset. NCL scheduled my flight to go 12 hours after I disembarked. Not fun waiting in an airport for that long.

I just did this cruise in September. It was excellent from beginning to end. I love the breakaway!

Thanks for the review. Other than the dinner show velvet, what shows were at a cost? Six? No, burn the floor? No. You said many. You wanted a singing waiter? They don't sing or dance on carnival. Sorry you didn't get a mint. Hopefully your next cruise will meet your expectations

NCL forgot to pay the weather bill. Been on Breakaway 5x love this ship can't walk more then 10 feet without the crew saying hello. There is only 1 entertainment venue they charge for and thats a dinner show. This review is not a true representation of the Breakaway.
