Embarkation

booked he trip last minute due to another cruise line cancling on us because another ship in their fleet had a fire in its funnel. When we arrived at the port to get on the ship the room number had not been assigned yet. So The porter thought he would be funny and shook me down for a $20 dollar tip to find the room number and said dont worry I will take care of it. We looked for our bags for an entire night because he had marked it room 9999 which they do not have so our bags went to the cargo hold of the ship. we asked guest services about it and were blown off 4 times before the housekeeper assinged to our room went to check the cargo area to find our suit cases at 12 am the next day. After I asked her for help she was the only one willing to help. Guest services was not willing to assit nor was JC the cruise director when I asked him I was told see guest services. the first day we wer unable to swim or change clothes due to this poor service.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good quality. Savor the specialty resturant was closed the whole time we were there. Manhatten Room had excellent service.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The large chest set made for a lot of fun with my kids. The hot Tub Marked for adults was over run with kids. Life guards would not send them to kids areas.

Entertainment

JC the Cruise Director was annoying he was at every event Crying for attention. Yet when i inquired about help with lost luggage I was blown off. I understand about staffing issues but really this is the best you have. Can i suggest Indeed.com

Service and Staff

Guest SERVICES Must hate the Customers. I work in the hospitality industry this not the way to treat guests. I would like to film your operations so I can show our employees how NOT to treat guest's if you would like repeat business.

I knew your embarking comments you left out of Miami. We had the same issues with the demand for tip and the poor help. Will never cruise out of Miami again. If we do it will be a simple phrase. We got this will not need your help.

Appreciate your feedback. That’s a room steward that cares. Sorry about customer service and the lost bags. Hope your next cruise is better.

The Norwegian Breakaway... $840 million dollars worth of incompetence. Like the Epic, only cheaper.
