Review summary

Our ship was only 1/3 full so it was wonderful. You got to know a lot of the people. We had no lines at the buffet, almost always found a seat at the bar. I think a full ship would be way to crowded for the size of the common areas. Theres only one pool so I expect it would be hard to get a lounge chair. Remember to make reservations for shows and specialty dining, they fill up fast.

Embarkation

We were one of the first there and were handed boarding group number 41…people just coming into the holding area were boarding with groups 1-15…it was like they handed out the numbers starting high and working down

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was only so so but the staff was attentive and the buffet was kept clean. Drinks selection plentiful!

Skyy Vodka Ice Bar

4 out of 5

This was pretty cool. Very cold so make sure you’re dressed for it. There were some in flip flops, they didn’t last long! The ice design is very pretty. Your admission is for 1 hour and includes 2 drinks from a limited menu. After your 2 drinks there’s no option to pay for another. Still something that should be experienced!

Shaker's Cocktail Bar

5 out of 5

This was my favorite bar. The bartenders quickly learned my name and my drink of choice. There’s an up charge on espresso and chocolate martinis.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We had the thermal spa which I absolutely loved. One of the nicest I’ve been in.

Spa Thermal Suite

5 out of 5

The thermal pool was really nice. It was a good size, Divided into different areas but all could bubble. There were plenty of warm stone loungers and cushioned lounge chairs. Also had a steam room, sauna, salt room and rain room. Lemon infused water available by the entrance.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The music venues were good but crowded. The shows in the theater were good, not great but enjoyable

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very pleasant and attentive

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and well maintained. Most common areas were a little small for the amount of people the ship holds. Our ship was only 1/3 full and the venues filled up, specialty restaurants had little availability.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Small for a mini suite, tiny balcony (32sq ft). For how much time we spent it was fine but since it wasn’t any bigger than a typical balcony room it was a little disappointing.

Ship tip

Make specialty restaurant reservations way before boarding

Ports of call

New York, New York Did not visit port

We live in NY so didn’t see the need for an excursion

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

3 out of 5
Great if you’re into snorkeling but if not there’s not much to do. Food and drinks very expensive.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
There was confusion regarding which deck to go to if you were walking off. Three people, 3 different answers
