I would not sail this ship again. Too large and the food was not the best. I enjoyed the ports and wish there was more time in St. Thomas, less in Tortola. The staff was great and our room was very comfortable.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
It was confusing, not clear where to go. We were to have Priority but we didn't. We just were part of the masses.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food was okay - nothing exciting. We had good food in the Manhattan Room. The specialty restaurants we ate at were ok. The buffet was too confusing and very crowded.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pool areas were very crowded, very far to walk from our room. Did not use fitness center. Never was able to get into any pool.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Enjoyed the show "Six" and the Dualing Pianos and commedians.
Children's Programs
No children of mine.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Waiters and bartenders were great. You did have to wait a bit to get a drink. Room Steward was fine.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
I just felt there was way too much walking to get to any particular spot, buffet, pool areas. All was clean, you could see attendants picking up right away.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin was very nice - good layout, comfortable bed, I slept very well and it was very clean!
Ship tip
This was our first time cruising in 23 years so we were inexperienced in what to do and where to go. Do your research and plan your room near where you think you will spend most of your time. If travelling with others, plan your room near them too!
Tortola is beautiful, but very in need of repairs from storms. We did the Island tour and it was a lot of fun. The roads are crazy winding...but a lot of fun, beautiful views.
Again, we paid for Priorty Status and signage was not good. We ended up with the masses again and did a lot of walking, which was not good for me as I was in a lot pain due to physical problems. Very dissatisfied. We paid for VIP Priority and did not receive the benefit of it mostly due to lack of signage for it. The people who worked the cruise did not understand when we asked and just shook their heads and moved us along. :(
