Review summary

There were some negatives about the cruise, but the food was better than on most other cruise lines. The ship is nice although the center around the casino and specialty restaurants and shops smells strongly of cigarette smoke. And it was spring break so. We will try NCL again.

Casino is in the center of the ship around the specialty restaurants and shops. It reeked of cigarette smoke. Room balcony was crusted in salt hadn't been cleaned in a while. On sea days the pool deck, water slides were packed.

Cabin / Stateroom

Mattress was old and hard. Room steward was new and took a couple days to get organized. But did a decent job keeping the room clean. Balcony was filthy, crusted with salt. Excellent shower in bathroom.

Love Costa Maya, but only had a half day there. Wish we had a full day there and half day at Harvest Caye.

Disembarkation

Total mess, people jammed on stairs and common areas. No coordination or communication on when to get off the ship just a mad rush to the exists. The cruise lines program to take your luggage to the airport was nice though.
