Review summary

This was a good cruise for the most part. We've cruised many times, and for the first time they confiscated my power strip citing electrical/fire hazard. there are only 2 outlets in the room, we had to juggle all our devices throughout the entire trip. they also took away bottles of water we had in our luggage.

buffet had everything the dining rooms had. so unless you want to spend 2 hours being waited to serve a single serving, buffet is the way to go! we had the ultimate adult drink packages, all the wine, beer, and sodas we wanted, wonderful! but water is excluded, hilarious!

NCL sent me an email before the cruise that instead of Stockholm, the ship would be docking at Nynashamn. to make up for the late switch, they would provide free shuttle from Nynashamn to Stockholm. After our family got off the ship, no NCL staff knew about the shuttle, as if i was out of my mind. we ended up buying our own train tickets to Stockholm. after returning to the ship, i complained to customer services, they said they were sorry about the confusion, they'll do better in the future. i hate that kind of lame non-response. ran into another guy later who said he had same experience. he had to find and show the NCL email to get free shuttle.

They have USB ports in the lights by the bed now

If you travel internationally (or not), pick up a travel adapter to use in the other outlet. I have had no issues with that. I use mine that has 3 usb ports. That frees up the US outlet for my hair styling tools.

Yes, lets sneak, break the rules and while we r at it... create a fire hazard

We were able to bring packaged water bottles in our carry on. We put it in a small roller suitcase. But it can't be out of the wrapped pkg.

All cruise lines are moving to ban power strips and USB charge station. Next time you will be better of with an old fashion extension cord or outlet splitter.
