I was very disappointed. Especially of the fact that I could have died from those toxic fumes. Thank God my husband was able to open the balcony door and I had to actually sleep there sitting up because it was too small for a lounge chair. It caused me to have a asthma attach. My husband is still sneezing now from those fumes. No one came to assist us although I called from the cabin phone 3 times.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Not bad at all, I expected a longer wait but it was actually very good we had no problems.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We only got 3 speciality resturants and they were all very good. The buffet was also good, The coffee could have been better.
Taste Restaurant
5 out of 5
One of the days I was feeling seasick. was scared to eat a lot of Food. THe waitress was very kind went out of her way to get me a cup of ginger. Then I ordered the chicken soup which was very good. Good prompt service, I gave her a nice tip. Did not realize that I could have been eating there all along. I only had 2 more days to go.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Did not do any activities. Pool was too small and crowed with a million children. Tried to go to Margaritaville, we were told that we had to pay $50 cover charge so we did not go. Even though we had purchased the unlimited drinks package.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Party at the bliss was great. Atrium games were also very good. The singers were great. Only problem was the Rock of ages show where the children was allowed to go thru the noise, nudity vulgar language.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
did not see my room steward until the 4th day although I called frequently. I had a major health risk at 3 in morning. I called 3 times noone came to help us.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The ship design was fine but there need to be a place for the smokers to stay permanently. There was too much second hand smoke that I had to breathe.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
I must have been directly under the gym. I heard basketballs all day long. The size and location of the cabin was actually very good. The balcony was just stupidly small., however I was very glad to be able to open the door to get some oxygen after the release of some chemical fumes in the vent.
Ship tip
The only good thing was that the breakaway left out of manhattan. Dont go in the winter.
The breakaway left out of New York over 4 hours late. We had to purchase drinks we had nothing else to do. I think it was unfair that they still charged us all those port tax when it was their fault.
Got there too late. Kennedy Space center was already closed. Had to wait on long lines to get the bus to go to the beach. The beach was only a surfers beach. Could only stay for 2 hrs because we had to be back on the ship at 5:30 when we got there at 3.
When we pulled into port it was already two late. It was dark and all the stores were closed. We got ripped off because we had to make our our arrangement. They charged us $30 us dollars one way to go into the city which was 15 mins away. Our meal was $186 US. Then we had to pay to return again.
Just me...... if there were deadly toxic fumes in my cabin..... I wouldn't be calling 3 times FROM the cabin phone!!! I may have taken the initiative and go to Guest Services and spoken directly to the Hotel Director and brought him to the cabin..... I find it difficult to believe that your 3am 911 call went unanswered / unresponnded especially after 3 calls..... again, maybe just me but if my wife had a major health risk at 3am and no one responded I would've been pro active and ran to Guest Services
