That was my 6th time on Breakaway and 11th with NCL, never had such a bad experience. On day 4 my husbands room card was desactivated because for some reason it was not attached to the credit card during check in the port. Nobody contacted us, no calls or letter. We had a dinner at the restaurant and were informed that he has to go to customer service. We had to leave the restaurant. The assistant manager of financial department was rude, unprofessional, refused to give us his name, instead he throw his ID and told my daughter to write his name herself and asked my daughter if she wants his home address as well. Our night was completely destroyed. We made an official complaint to hotel director but he never contacted us back. Only a customer service representative from the latitude desk called us with apology.
Nothing in the port, no stores or restaurants, NOTHING. We got there 3 hrs later than scheduled, didn’t have time to go anywhere ( the shortest distance to go somewhere was 1 hour).
Do not book a tour to the White Castle resort, nothing like advertised, you are not going to be able to swim in the ocean, not even go to the water, stone, dirty, no one cleans. Lunch was horrible.
