Review summary

Our frist cruise although was a good vacation we did not feel that we were cruising people. We decided to give it another chance and we with a different travel agency. Dream Vacations got us on the NCL Breakaway. We had a BLAST!!!!!! Super happy definitely looking forward to another cruise . NCL is the way to go as well as Dream Vacations travel agents.

The food was all fabulous, I'm having withdrawals. I don't eat this good at home. Only issue was Margaritaville should not be a Al cart restaurant.

Although we did not bring children we were impressed with all of the amenities for younger children as well as teens.

Super helpful staff. Willing to answer questions,and didn't get upset if you asked the same question every day. The bar staff was great remembered you drink and your name. Great personalitys as well as attitudes. You can tell they love their work.

Disembarkation

It was slow, need to find a way to make it easier to exit the ship as well as get it ready for the next group to board. Maybe exit by floor.i don't know but ,we all stood around till we could get off the ship. Once off the ship it was easy to get through at at Port.

I did the Breakaway last year. It was ok, but to be honest, I did the Getaway the year prior and had a blast. Something about leaving out of Miami was a fun experience more so than out of NY. I'm a big Norwegian Fan... Glad you had a great time. You know the Escape will soon be sailing out of NY as the Getaway will be parting ways to a new port....

So glad you found a cruise line to your liking. Now your big question is whether to return to the Breakaway, or a different NCL ship. Either way, enjoy!
