Overall i enjoyed this cruise. I would return to the Breakaway sometime down the line for sure. Bermuda as well. Clean and friendly is what sticks out to me !!!!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
I know embarkation is hectic, especially for the terminal employees, but the process was simple. Each step moves faster if everyone has their credentials ready. This was one thing i noticed the terminal staff would repeat to the cruisers on line over and over so it was helpful.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Overall, i enjoyed the restaurants we went to. Cagney's, Moderno, Manhattan Room, and LaCucina. Every waiter we had was helpful, happy, and funny. I try to make everything simple for the waiters and waitresses ass they work long weeks and all summer but i could see that each member was eager to help and make the dining experience one to remember on the Breakaway.
Onboard Activities

The Pool deck was where i spent most of the time. It was a good idea to separate the adults pool from the children's pool. Its a big ship with a lot of people and of course you will run into times when you feel cramped. Its normal but the only suggestion i have for the pools is having tiers in the pool or a cut out into the sides of the pool and this would enable more people to sit in the pool than just the outsides. Otherwise, Mini Golf was some good easy fun as well as the arcade from time to time just to unwind with some good old games.
Entertainment

HOWL AT THE MOON was awesome every single time we saw the show. Hands down my favorite show on the ship. Second City is always a favorite and hope that Norwegian can continue to have both of these great performances on their cruise ships.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward from minute one was beyond helpful and always there to ask us if we needed anything or just to have a quick chat. His name was Ken from Floor 11 Mid Ship and all week he was beyond kind, made up our rooms in a quick fashion and even gave us some tips on how to feel better when the ship was rocking in the ocean. He went above our expectations for sure.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The design overall was great because everything was easily accessible in the main areas. I felt this ship was "thin" but its most likely because how long the ship is and I am sure there is an Engineering reason behind it. One thing I feel most people didn't realize is the elevators stated floor 4-15 or 4-16. As a result, the up and down buttons are separate so i don't think people realized they were only waiting for 4 out of the 8 elevators rather than all 8. It is a clever concept and I saw some people get annoyed when they would see an elevator open but it was full and then see another elevator open after the first elevator past. I don't think most people realized that there was strategic design for this. I overall did not mind it. As far as cleanliness, in the Garden cafe, if i saw something drop, i usually saw a ship member clean it right away or a member stand there and call someone to bring over cleaning materials. It was good on their part to get immediate attention.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
More comfortable than other Norwegian Ships I have been on. The structure of the bathroom also made sense. I didnt feel like it was in the way or central to the room. For two people there were only 2 outlets which I know are regulated because most power is used for other parts of the ship, but for a room of 3-4 people, it could cause an issue. Everyone now has a smart phone and uses them as "Cameras." I brought an external charger which helped but i can see this annoying others down the line. Overall, i liked the cabin and as i mentioned, our steward was great and good to us all week.
Ship tip
When using the elevators, hit up or down on both buttons on each side of the hallway. You will have a better chance of getting an elevator. Also, wake up early if you want a better chance at getting chairs near the pool deck and main bar.
Bermuda - this was my 4th time to Bermuda. I absolutely love it there and would like to go many many more times. I enjoy going on different ships to Bermuda with Norwegian. I find it to be the most convenient and easy way to enjoy a cruise and a stay at an awesome island. Do your research ahead of time of what you want to do on the island. Once you have that figured out, all you need to do is figure out transportation. if you are going to use buses and ferries non stop, pay for the 2 day pass and on the third day only pay for what you will use.
Love it! Always have. I highly recommend the Frog and Onion Pub. They have a brewery near by, Dockyard Brewing, that provide a variety of good brews. Bonefish in the past has been great but I did not go this year. Snorkel Beach/Park is near the dockyard. At night it is a 'club' and great for young couples and parties. I did not go this year again but in the past has been a good way to get off the ship and party with people your age. SAFETY at the dockyard is a big thing. Look both ways before crossing the street. Everything is compact in Bermuda and the drivers know these roads blindfolded. Be very careful on scooters and be aware of your surroundings as the people on the island are cautious, but accidents can happen.
Disembarkation i remember was pretty quick in the past. We would dock and roll our luggage off on our own and be on the street in no time. Now there is a color coding system which "works" but does take a lot of time. It could be because of how many people are on the ship but I feel it was slower than usual.
