Review summary

First time on a cruise! I thought I would come back to give a wonderful review, but turns out it wasn't the best experience ever! To start, I had requested a handicap room as it was 3 of us and my friend has a heart condition, so we wanted a bit more room for him to be comfortable. Turns out, the person who helped us book the room, gave us the room next door to a handicap room and not an actually handicap room! After we checked in and noticed the room wasn't roomy enough, we walked over to guest services, Gina and Leo, were the WORSE! They pretty much told us, "too bad, the ship is full and we can't move you. Even if you call your agent, that won't help anything!" EXCUSE ME!!!! So we were pretty much out of luck and had to deal with it. Not one time did they apologize nor tried helping us out by reaching out to our agent. Everyone else was AMAZING!

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

I was told that I can't book a handicap room unless I or someone in my party is in a wheelchair. Staff on a ship can't do much if ship is sold out .

Why would you blame the cruise line or the ship staff for your travel agents mistake ?? These are the reviews I cannot stand

I would've been really angry! these agents make money off us going through them and you should be heavily compensated! Wouldn't make me use an agent again, I'd go directly through the cruise line.

The person who made the reservation, " gave us the room next door to a handicap room and not an actually handicap room " so no bump but a mistake in the original reservation.

I would definitely go back to your travel agent to complain. If they told you they booked a handicap room and you didn't get that, the travel agent should be compensating you in some way!

Unfortunately ships usually are full. And handicap rooms are limited. If you go again, I suggest you do a bit of research. All cruise lines have a map of decks, and marked what are handicap cabins. You can trust, but verify.😉
