Review summary

we are platinum plus ffrom the beginning the so called help to our cabin in the HAVEN was me pulling our two carryons trying to keep up with helpppp

by taking upgrade we lost our free stuff our gratuities we were told were not for the haven so they treated us great so $250 out of pocket for tips no internet the butler and cabin steward was excellent the concierge was non exsistant plus we paid $2500 additional for spa haven which was 2 floors below THE HAVEN bringing our total to higher then we would ofpaid for cabin plus we were not given any perks that all others got in the HAVEN PLUS we were hereded like animals down 8 decks for drill unable to get an elevator for over a half an hour we were in cabin #14740

You shouldn't have "lost" any free stuff. You keep whatever promo you had on your original booking, unless you had a spa cabin and upsold out of spa category. If you didn't want to lug your bags around they could've been checked in with porters. The escort into Haven is one person, so I don't think it's reasonable or realistic to expect him/her to assist with everyone's carry on bags. If you couldn't carry them, you should've checked them. As for the elevators, you have like 4,000 passengers attending a mandatory safety drill at the same exact time... I wouldn't EXPECT to catch an elevator right away afterwards. I thought it was pretty organized.

of the one mistake you made was not upgrading to a cabin in the Haven the experience is much different

I'm just confused that as a Platinum Plus cruiser you were caught off guard by all these things..... not discounting your frustration but scratching my head

it sounds like being upgraded to THE HAVEN is not as great perk abs service wise as booking it from the beginning. I totally understand your frustration.

I was herded along with you, but not from 14, but an inside on 11( studio). sounds like the Haven isn't heaven. hopefully you had good weather.
