Norwegian Breakaway

7 Night Bahamas & Florida (New York Roundtrip)

Sail date: March 26, 2017

Ship: Norwegian Breakaway

Cabin type: Balcony

Cabin number: 10138

Traveled as: Family (young children)

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Review summary

The ship was clean, the pool was way to small and not in the sun.  Their should be two kids pools for all of the children or someone watching it.. beside the parents.  The charges for additional things were ridiculous and not enough chairs when you get to the private island.  the service at the restaurants was slow.

Absolutely watch your own kids ! My goodness ! Ships don't need more kids pools they need parents to be parents !!!!

Parents watch your own kids at the pool!

Lifeguards I am ok with that , but he or she is there for the safety of All , Disney well yeah , 6000 passengers 5000 kids so you do the math Liability is greater , I still would never leave my kids , grandkids, Etc. out of my site on a "Cruise Ship " ,  land Vacation , whatever, but to each his Own ...

The Breakaway has someone 'watching' the pool, when it is open, where the poor child drowned in January 2014 or 2015.

parents should be watching their kids but unfortunately not all parents do. i do think the cruiselines should have lifeguards by the pools. i think the only line that does is Disney.

I agree. If you are taking YOUR kids its your responsibility to watch them.
