Review summary

My favorite part of my cruise on the ship was the specialty restaurants, The Fat Cats Jazz and Blues Club, The show Burn The Floor, and the pool area was lots of fun with the band New Generation. Once we docked lots of fun, shopping and going to Horseshoe Bay was great loved it and having the opportunity to see the Crystal Caves, Aquarium, and Zoo. The only thing I was disappointed about was I did not get to see the other shows like Rock Of Ages for they were all booked  maybe there can be more showings in the future. Thank You

I loved our room and the towel animals were so cute.

Ship tip

No matter what you choose to do on board the ship you will have so much fun. There are plenty of things to do, the food is excellent and they have great sales going on during your trip. The workers on board the ship were very nice and friendly and helpful. We loved being on the Norwegian Breakaway

It was a little rocky and lots of people lost their lunch it was gross seeing the puke vacuum going past with chunks in it. The first day and a half it was noticeable but was not bad! I couldn't eat the first night lol my husband and his friend chowed down! The Captain did a great job.

I'm on the Epic 21 Jan and still waiting for NCL to open up dinning and shows. I want to see the Priscilla show. Should be fun. I might try Le Bistro this time. Teppanyaki is always good but Cagney's and Moderno will be my first choices.

I read about the different themes in the daily activities. I'm on Nov 13th so I'll check it out then.

No I did not. I had not heard that. I was trying to get so many things done and spent a bunch of time in the casino that I had not thought of that being possible. I see now that it is a show in Vegas too!

I read that the Burn the Floor show has two themes, a different one on the two nights they perform. Did you see both?

Rock of ages and Burn the floor are not to be missed if you want great entertainment shows while on the Breakaway. I would see them again they were so good.

Just a little.. they moved up NY departure time from 4pm to 130pm to avoid the path of the storm. Coast Guard lifted sailing restrictions and we ended up leaving at 3pm. Sunday afternoon through Monday evening were rocky... (report from the bridge on tv reported 21 ft seas). That being said, it did NOT feel that bad at all. Nothing was cancelled, didn't see or hear of sick passengers. Mostly ppl were laughing as they tried to walk around! The captain kept everyone informed and reassured that he would avoid the worst of it... it didn't really phase anyone that I know of.. I'm just happy to know I can survive 21 ft seas without a problem! Haha!

Did you experience rough seas last week from hurricane hermine?

Book shows online as soon as you can so you're not disappointed... they had other shows that didn't require reservations.. one was "Oh What a Night"... not sure if they're on the ship all the time but if you like Frankie Valli music it's a great show!
