Review summary

We had a wonderful time cruising to Bermuda on the Norwegian Breakaway. Lots to do every day... activities galore, for all ages. Fantastic fitness center, great entertainment, day and night, wonderful shows, and delicious food in a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. Though it's a big ship, we easily found out-of-the-way spots away from the crowds, to have a drink and quiet conversations. The friendly staff couldn't do enough for us, making our first cruise memorable, safe and enjoyable.

Great location, nice size room with a large balcony and bathroom/shower. I knew there was a charge if we opened soda and/or liquor from our room fridge but was surprised when we were charged for the water that was out on the counter in our room. Considering we were on the beverage plan, I was surprised (and disappointed) there was that added charge on our bill.

Ship tip

Deck 17 (forward) was a nice place to take the sun, read a book, and get away from some of the crowd (and noise) from pool deck.

I think a lot of the negatives are due to either people who are never happy or whose expectations are very skewed.
