Review summary

I had the dining package and the drink package and apparently so did the entire ship. There were not enough bartenders to handle the crowds. There were very few waiters walking around as on past cruises. Bartenders did not have any sense of ergency to make drinks or serve the people that were sometimes four deep waiting for drinks. I guess they weren't getting tipped like they were used to so they took their time.

As for the dining package if you done make dinner reservations online before the cruise then your will have a very difficult time getting into the speciallty restaurants. I was disappointed I could not use my dining package as i intended. I only could get into two restaurants.

Also, whta's with people reserving all the lounge chairs with towels before breakfast. I noticed some of these resrved chairs were empty until after lunch. The crew should pick up towels after a while to free up chairs for other passengers.

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

No fee Deb. The H2o area is the open area on the top deck with a large TV screen and a waterfall. It's where they have a few parties like the sail away and the glow parties.

What is the H2o area and is there a fee?

seagal5    8 years ago

We used the h2o area for adults & had no trouble finding somewhere to sit

Yea, but the Vibe area is also a Tuff place to get into. They run out of reserved space pretty quickly.

ckaplwn    8 years ago

If you book the Vibe area , you don't need to worry about towels. So much nicer

You said it Kristi 👍😉

Then I guess everyone should keep a close eye on their towels. Don't use them to reserve.

meghad23    8 years ago

You loose a towel and you are charged 25 bucks.

Like I said in the past. If i end up at the pool and want to lounge and there are chairs reserved. Which you can tell when they are reserved. That towel will either be placed on the round or moved. I will take it. I will not feel guilty either. There is no reserving seats.

That's why it would be pretty dumb to leave it lying on a lounge chair from 6:30 am to whenever one would feel like really using the chair

As far as the towel situation... From what I understand, if you loose your one towel, it will be billed to your account. And those towels are not cheap. We bought one in their gift shop last year for $25

seagal5    8 years ago

Not a problem for me...after I see the same chairs not being used for HOURS, I remove the towels myself

Agree on the towel thing. I think it is a common problem on most cruises in warm climates. When we cruised to Alaska out of Seattle it was not a problem
