Review summary

The vast part of the trip was very enjoyable. The service outstanding. Food too available Clean, comfortable. And the staff went out of their way to be friendly and accomodating. The only drawback for us was the $50 on board credit we thought we were getting, but did not. We questioned guests services a couple of times, they sent a message to BJ's travel services, and I personally left a message which was never answered. Am waiting now to see if I receive the $100 BJ's credit comes. Idealistically, I would like to see the on board credit added to the BJ's voucher/credit I am supposed to get.

Needed to remind our steward a couple of times for towels/ice, but all in all very happy with the cleaning and service

Ship tip

O'Sheen's was great for the quiet and relaxation, but for variety, the buffet was the best. No real need for to dress up, the entire ship was set for simplicity. You don't disembark any faster by doing self service and carrying your own luggage,&decorate it so you can easily find in the sea of bags.

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

Not even a little bit lol. It's basically a free for all at check in. If ur not in a rush to get on board ur better off going later once boarding has started. Less crowded and not as long of a wait.

BJ's is the same travel company as Cruise.com and I am NOT a fan. Did u have to fill out any paperwork to get the OBC? I know I had to for cruise.com... I also verified with NCL that it was posted to my acct about 2 wks before sailing, because I was told by the TA it usually gets sent over to NCL 21 days before sailing. That way I had time to call the TA and have it done if necessary.

We had an issue with our obc last year and we called the travel agency when we got back and they credited our card right away. Bjs is really good about taking care of any discrepancies, just make sure you have your original travel documents just in case.

You booked your cruise through a Travel Agency, instead of directly with NCL. Travel Agents can (and will) offer or promise you on-board credit, spa treatments, special dining, and priority or VIP treatment, just to sell you a cruise. NCL (or any other cruise line) is not obligated to honor a TA's promise. Since your cruise is now over, I seriously doubt you will ever see your credit.
