Review summary

Overall we had a great time. A few things that were not so great.

The cost was a bit more than we expected after we realized there were very few things that are actually included other than the buffet.

The connection options on the boat are awful for staying in touch with land. We have kids staying at grandma's so that was a bit unnerving.

The return was too early for us...it docked at 7:30 and wanted us off the boat by 9:30 Sunday. So be careful if you are partying too hard on Saturday night.

Thank you! I was on RC about 24 years ago. Things were very different. lol. This time we are taking my kids that are 11 and the other will be having her 14th birthday on the ship. 😃

They are part of the price, as well as several other eateries that we enjoyed very much, especially uptown grill ..the burgers & salads are AWESOME

Are the 3 main dining rooms part of the price or are those only specialty? I thought those were included.

I found a ton of choices other than the buffet that were included. Osheeans, uptown grill, 3 main dining rooms, noodle bar in casino..etc..maybe you weren't on the breakaway ? They also ask for you to choose between your freestyle options & one of them is specialty dining, so if you booked on NCL , you'd have to know there are things NOT included in the cruise price.

Unfortunately the main itinerary for the Breakaway includes Bermuda and Bahamas which are not part of the Verizon plan. :(

You can buy an international plan from Verizon if that is your wireless carrier. The plan they offer is for $10 a day you can use your home 4G plan just as though you were home in the states. They just started doing this.
