Review summary

lovely ship. would not recommend this cruise for anyone over 35 years of age too many kids of all ages.

cruise line charges for many standard things such as some shows;use of steam room and sauna;service in dining rooms is slow;internet does not work and is located in noisy part of ship;after 930 at night cannot get drink at cafe(buffet);staff not greatly interested in serving guests;pools too small for swimming;casino is very smoky etc.

overall on scale of 10 would give 4.

Absolutely! I'm disappointed to hear that the casino is open to the atrium. Haven't been on the Breakaway, hope it' won't be too smoky or we won't going back.

I will agree to that as well, keep the smoking areas outside.

I will agree on one thing. I feel all cruises should be smoke free inside. Outside don't bother me.

I'm so confused by the frequent comments about the ship being smokey. We didn't notice it at all, even in the casino itself. One of our group even suffers from mild asthma and moderate environmental allergies and they didn't even notice significant smoke inside the ship. Smoking area near pool was a little noticeable but that was an outdoor smoking area and so we chose nor to hang out there.

Pools on cruise ships are mainly for relaxation and not necessarily swimming.
