First time on Breakaway

Sail Date: July 14, 2013

Room Type: Suite

Overall we have a good experience on the ship.
Fortunately, our suite was in the Haven which was secluded and private because
the regular portion of the trip was overcrowded in the pool and some reservation settings.
To get a chair at the pool many reserved at 7am. The aft common area for parties is also too small for gatherings without seating. Unlike other Norwegion ships the shows are by reservation only or you won't get seats, but they are fantastic. The staff and food are also good.
Spa and ship are beautiful but I would recommend only the Haven if booking a suite. For the money, if you cant get a chair at the pool or into the spa, you won't be happy.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Same menu in all standard restaurants each morning, lunch dinner
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Children's Programs
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
We booked our own they were same companies one half the cost

Tip

Make reservations the first day on the ship for your shows and dining if you want to experience them. They sell out very fast. Our cruise was not even full capacity.
