Over all great cruise. If you go be prepared for hot weather. Coolest it was after San Pedro was at 3am coming into Miami 78*
Embarkation

Moved along really good. They had it very organized.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The dining rooms were good but had very limited times only 1.5 hours for breakfast or lunch. Plus not open for lunch while in port.
The Buffet was not very good. Low quality food and not very imagination.
We ate at the specialty restaurants 5 times.
Cagney's isn't what it used to be.
I had a ribeye one night and a porterhouse another. And the steaks weren't any better than what they what I could buy at any grocery store. The sides were also terrible. One night I got potatoes a graughten. And it was dry and chewy. Like it had been sitting in a warming oven from the night before.
The next night I got a baked potato and it was so cold it wouldn't even melt the butter.
We ate at La Bistro 3 other nights and it was very good.
Also we ate at Local. A pub inspired restaurant and bar several times. Excellent.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I did the water slides and they were really cool.
The DJs and bands they had around the pool areas were really good.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Went to 3 shows. Jersey boys was good. The Beatles was good. But the so called Motown show was terrible. The group did what they called Mashups. Basically Motown songs that they twisted. Most people walked out in first 5 minutes
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Good service frithe bar and restaurant staff. Are room steward was super excellent.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Very clean ship and great design of the ship. It flowed very well getting around
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was good size and lay out. Balcony seemed small considering it was advertised as a larger balcony.
Ship tip
On Deck 8 there are a lot of great places to hangout in the outside area. Without having to deal with the pool areas. Comfortable chairs and couches
It was interesting. Found it was actually better to watch in our room. As they had a tour guide tell about the canal and it's history. But you could only here it on the TV and not on the balcony..
We went on the airboat/alligator tour. It was good. But our bus driver was sick and kept falling asleep while driving. Drifting in to other lanes of traffic. Almost hitting several cars.
The airboats are cool. But they only go about a half mile in the trip.
Tip, bring your own ear plugs or head phones. The plugs they give you are not very good.
The wildlife show is very informative and fun.
Very unorganized. In future we will just handle our own luggage. As those that did were long gone by the time we got off and we were in one of the first groups to be called. Because we had a 9am tour. Didn't get off until 930 and others on the tour didn't get off until 1030. Also very limited food and no bars our own luggage. our own luggage and get it off the ship. We were in one of the first groups but still took over 2 hours. They would keep shuffling us around from area to area.
