Review summary

We had fun on this cruise. There were some issues, but not enough to ruin the cruise. Main issue was crowding and the attitude of the staff other than the room stewards.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
no seating at terminal

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Fine. Some food was really, really good. Some other food was average. Not much for picky eating kids.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pool was entirely too crowded. Hard to sign up for things. There were no appointments available for the race car. APP was awful

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The two things I did get into were really good.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Our room steward was great. The help at guest services was rolling her eyes at customers.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
ship was nice. Elevators were small and stuffy.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfortable, clean and size well. Our room steward (Neville) was great. BRING YOUR OWN SHAMPOO!

Ship tip

Bring your own shampoo!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
Kennedy space center was fun.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

1 out of 5
The island was beautiful, but there were TWO ships there that day and it was SO incredibly crowded. Should not have been allowed. There was a place that had tacos and they were really really good!

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Nassau was fun. Took a $4 taxi to a free beach. Rented a $10 chair which I think is a steal for a day at the beach!

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Ridiculous event of traversing the ship to disembark only to wait in a huge long line. Next time take the 1st carry your own luggage disembarkation and try to avoid the crowd.

Thank you for sharing your review, also thanks for the tips. I will bring my own shampoo and I will carry my own luggue off the ship. I understand that sometimes not all the staff is as friendly but I'm happy that you still had a good time. Also you are not the first in all the reveiws I've read so far that say not all the staff is as friendly as we would like. This is good for me to know, so I won't be disappointed if this happens to me.

I was on the same cruise. There was shampoo and body wash in dispensers on the shower wall. Obviously, if you’re particular about your hair products, bring your own. We thought the staff was great! Everyone we had contact with was super friendly from waiters and bar staff to room stewards, room service attendants and the Park West staff. We carried our own luggage and we were in our car and through the Lincoln Tunnel by 8am.
