Review summary

Staff were over worked! Some were very nice but others not so much! The gift shop did not restock the ship! So our cruise you could not buy cigarettes (other than marboro reds) or good liquor! They told my girls oh well guess you can quit smoking. No sorry or anything! Room was very spacious had 2 TVS and a patriot between the big bed and the couch bed! Large bathroom with 2 sinks and a tub! Our Stewart was very nice just over worked!

We were on the Escape last year and we never really saw over worked staff! The staff on the Bliss were very different! They were not very friendly!

True that like many ships that use foreign unregulated labor, the staff gets worked long hours with limited time to rest. But if they had enough staff, passengers would scream about the higher cruise rates. Always an unfortunate trade off. When you take a ship tour and see all that is involved in operations, it is amazing. But I would have been willing to pay a bit more to have more staff and workers that didn't work 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for 5 months straight before a break.
