The food is pretty good here. I would recommend the brisket and fried okra. But the service was not the greatest. Our dinner took over 3 hours. The band was so loud that nobody could talk to each other. It took 40 for someone to even bring us water. If you have a lot of patience and like bbq, this is the place for you. The food is very good.

Maybe I had high expectations going there as I an a big fan of BBQ. We went thet on the 1st night, service was great, live music was great, food- not so great. I ordered the shrimp, dry and kinda rubbery. Hubby ordered the platter, one rib was great, the other we couldn't cut the meat off it was so tough. The brisket, there were 2 pieces and cut so thin like cold cuts, and dry. The sides, they served in tiny ramekins. Barely a mouthful of each, so I really didn't get to taste. Kinda disappointed.

Food was great and plentiful, but, with reservations, we were seated close to the stage, they then opened up seating all around us for anyone to come watch the live band. Not a big issue for us, but if we make reservations we would expect to be seated in some semi private seats, not a free for all war on seating!

The W Texas Smokehouse was pretty large and the food was spectacular. There was a Country band playing each afternoon for entertainment and while you eat.
