After flying all night we arrived to check in at 10:30 am and board, hoping to get some sleep. Due to computer issues could not board until 3:30 pm. Especially frustrating with a 1 yr old in tow. MUST GET BACKUP SYSTEM!!!

Ship is starting to look tired. Time to update rooms. Love all the fresh flowers throughout the ship.

overall a very good cruise and a great value! Staff was very nice and accomodating. Captain was not very visible but I guess this ain't the Love Boat. Still...no presence at gala night that I know of. I felt rushed out of my room on debarkation day by steady intrusions at my room by staff. I get it that staff needs to turn the room but that's not really my problem. Don't rush the staff so much or hire more staff!

This was a very relaxing cruise because of the amount of days at sea. Perfect way to wind down after we spent a week in Hawaii in a rental house.

We were disappointed with this cruise after taking a HA cruise to South America. This ship was much larger but there were not much to do aboard except eat and shop.

Itinerary was GREAT but will never book traveling on the Noordam again and even considering not traveling Holland America Lines again!!! You can tell Carnival has taken over!!

Quite enjoyable overall as I was traveling with family members. Good food, very good services, but there were not many activities on board which I like. Felt bored when on sea for long time. The soft bed is the worst part of the whole trip.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary on board. The restaurant staff made a special cake for us, and sang an Indonesian song for us. We had dinner with the Captain and wife, which was one of the highlights of all our cruises. Thank you, Captain Draper! The cruise was excellent, just what we wanted. In retrospect, we liked the sea days just as much as shore days,We may be more. A few of the ports of call were far from the main attractions, which meant paying for excursions and spending lots of time on buses. I would have preferred fewer stops, more sea days, and possibly an overnight at one of the main cities, like Wellington, Melbourne or Hobart.

After this cruise, we are looking forward to the next cruise experience, perhaps Alaska or something in the European arena. Personnel on the trip were professional and every surface was cleaned and cleaned again.

Absolutely wonderful! Loved the ports, so much to see and do! Wish for more time in a couple ports. Would have enjoyed more ports in Australia. We had great weather which made a huge difference.

One of my more disappointing cruises with Holland America Cruiseline!!!!!!!!! Would hesitate recommending Holland America to my friends and family!!!

A nice, relaxing cruise. It was a definitely an older crowd. We're in our 30s and we felt like some of the youngest people on the ship. So don't plan on partying all night on the cruise.

Alaska is a fantastic itinerary -- not to be missed. Holland America has excellent excursions and shore relationships that, I think, make it the standout choice. You'll find the crowd on board about what you'd find at a theme park or Vegas -- anxious to relax, not interested in dressing up, and traveling with the entire family in tow.

This trip made me want to go back. I would even go back on the same ship which I don't like to repeat trips. Alaska is fabulous and changing all the time.

Entertainment poor schedules and the show too short, and piano lady only playing sound with peoples tips and buy her CD. The television was old fashioned.

The weather was just fantastic for our early July cruise. Fortunately for us this was following three weeks of rain for all the prior cruises. Weather can cancel your excursions which is unfortunate, but you would rather that than waste your money not seeing anything or worse put yourself in danger. It's expensive to go to Alaska, but well worth it if your looking for tall mountains, wildlife, and great seafood. Also consider the land portion for those that really want to get closer to the animals and see more of them.

Could have used a wider variety of activities on sea days, as well as more variety day to day on the Lido menu.

Room stewards were awesome.

Bar staff could have been nicer.

median age of passengers was retired and up.

The ship was very clean and the staff was wonderful!  We enjoyed getting to know our kind and lovely waiters, and we found all the ship's staff to be helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.  We especially loved our day in Glacier Bay, with a knowledgeable and interesting park Ranger on board providing guidance on what we were seeing.  Loved that the captain turned the ship's engine off so we could enjoy the sounds of the glaciers!!

Drink package was nice.  room was good.  enjoyed food.  pinnacle grill was good.  dessert wasn't great.  love chocolate melting cake that other ships offer.

Food was excellent, crew and staff were very friendly and always smiling. Our room  stewart and restaurant servers called us by name and always had time to talk with us.

It would have been nice if the Noordam had a movie theatre.
